I like dual single-bladed lightsabers best - a regular one in my right hand and a short one in my left.

Same as DarthMalevolent, except that I use regular lightsabers on both right and left hand. ;)
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Yup, the only real difference there is that I get a slightly better chance-to-hit per attack, but with less damage. If I'm playing a Guardian/Weaponmaster (or dark side equivalent) I do equal length blades, since the extra weapons skills ultimately negate the off-hand penalty.
