I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I am in act II and when I try to go to old owl well or the scout camp the load screen locks up. I don't have this problem with any other area. Just those two.
I thought it might be a video card driver issue but they are up to date and I am running direct x 9c. I need to recruit an officer for my keep but am not quit to act III. Any thoughts? Is an officer really needed at this point in the game. my pc should run this wiothout blinking
3.2 pentium D
2064 mb ram
2x 7900gs in sli

Even with a very good PC the load times can be terrible sometimes. Are you certain you're giving it time enough?
Have you tried to access these areas from another area then your current one? Sometimes it helps to take an extra tour, for some reason.

Well, 10 minutes is too long. If it's taking that long then something is probably broken.
Just about everything you do at the keep is optional, so if you can't make it back to Old Owl Well to pick up some recruits, it shouldn't really be a problem. I don't think there's any reason to go to the Dwarven Scouts area in Act II unless you didn't go there in Act I.
