Spellcasting Speed Question

Post by tzeench »

I have a questen about how to raise my speed in casting spells in a row. Is there any chance i can cast spells as fast as for example irenicus ? he seems to cast 3 spells at the same time sometimes. is this just an effect for the cutscened, or will i be able to cast spells that fast ?

You can't. You only allowed one spell per six second round unles you use a sequencer. Irenecus uses contingincies(modified version) and sequencers.

I advise you to read the manual before posting. It really helps with the basic questions one might have about spell and such. I hope i did'nt sound condesending but this question is a sign of laziness on your part.

Since I'm also the lazy type when it comes to reading game manuals, I will shortly try to answer you question. A contigency and a sequencer are both spell you cast, and then you can store other spells within. A contingency is for storing spells with yourself as target, (thus mostly defensive spells) and is automatically triggerd when the criteria you specify is fulfilled, ie when you have lost 50% of your HP or when you are attacked. A sequencer is for storing offensive spells and this can be cast like any other spells. Thus you can store ie several magic missiles, but cast them all at the same time for increased damage. Very handy! Hope this helped. Image
