Missing Reccommendation? *spoilers*

Just for the record I have searched the previous entries but unfortunately the threads I have managed to find weren't particularly helpful.

After many trails, difficulties and other things I think I've gathered all the reccommendations for access to the arcane university, the annoying thing is I still can't the git Polus(?) to let me in.

First thing first, how many mage guilds (with reccommendations) are there supposed to be?

Secondly I do notice that according to my finished quests log, that specifically I haven't got "Chorrol's Reccommendation", I have actually completed "Finger of the Mountain" parts one and two and originally gave the book to Teekus and stole it back. I do find it strange that Teekus did say he would forward my reccommendation though my quest log doesn't confirm this like the other guilds.

Am I missing something?

to answer your second question it is a glitch. it will not be in the completed section even though you have completed it.

You need seven total, one from the mage's guild in each of the major cities: Anvil, Skingrad, Chorrol, Bruma, Cheydinhal, Bravil & Leyawin (but not Kvatch, since it's toast, or Imperial City since that's where you're trying to get in).
