No dialog option (possible spoilers?)

Post by Starrakatt »

Well, a long time since I came here.

I have a problem with Sharn gra-muzgob's ''little errand'' that he ask me to do before he answer me for the Nerevarine/6th House for Caius Cosades.

He just doesn't give me the option for Ancestral tomb quest, so I'm like in a dead-end for the main quest here.
Cosades said to talk to him, which I do. He then talk about not being a Necromancer, no sir! But that stop there.

Help anyone? Please??? (Could I use the console to solve the problem, if yes how?)

IIRC the dialogue option is under either necromancy or necromancer, not ancestral tomb.

The dialogue option is 'Errand', if that isn't available, talk to Caius Cosades again, you probably didn't finish the conversation with him, try asking about 'orders' again. If you've got the journal entry 'I've glanced at Hasphat Antabolis' notes. They cover the Sixth House admirably, but not the Nerevarine cult. Hop on over to the Balmora Mages Guild. It's right next to the Balmora Fighters Guild. Get Sharn gra-Muzgob to tell you what she knows about the Nerevarine. She'll have some silly errand for you. Do what she asks. And report back when she's given you the information.', and still don't get the 'Errand' option, then you've got problems. If you're playing on a PC this can be overcome, spoiler:

type Journal, "A1_4_MuzgobInformant", 10 into the console, then go get the skull.
, if you're playing on Xbox, I don't know what you can do.

One thing that reading peoples problems on this (and other sites) has convinced me of, never, ever waste money on an Xbox.

Fact is, I'm playing on PC. Thank you Galraen, I did just that and everything's fine now.
It don't seem it was an unfinished conversation with Cosades. Some glitch, most probably.
Again, thanks for the help :) !
