GOTY glitch
In GOTY (specificaly on solstheim), the buildings disaper. Sometimes it is just the building, leaving the door; other times it is the whole thing. Is this a software glitch or is it a problem with my disc reader? Please help because it is messing with quests!

Yes, it is for Xbox, BUT before I *hypothetically* talk about *hypothetical* mods, I would first like to know if (**hypothetically**) I would be allowed to do so without excessive moderator flaming (never talk about them on the official TES forums...).galraen wrote:Isn't Morrowind GOTY only on the Xbox?
Official TES: Morrowind forum ex-member. PM me if you want to know anything and everything about Morrowind (it'll take a while for a response).
I know what you mean about the moderator on the TES forums, had posts deleted on there myself, and none of them were abusive or broke any normal rules, just somewhat critical of Beth. This however is not the TES forum, and as long as spoilers are marked as such, and people take the trouble to search for a solution before starting duplicate threads etc, the mods wont give you any hassle. Heck you can even argue with them in the Speak Your Mind forum, and all they do is argue back. At the risk of over-inflating their egos, I'd say they are a pretty decent bunch.d-mac wrote:Yes, it is for Xbox, BUT before I *hypothetically* talk about *hypothetical* mods, I would first like to know if (**hypothetically**) I would be allowed to do so without excessive moderator flaming (never talk about them on the official TES forums...).
Back OT, as GOTY is Xbox, then mods aren't relevant to the original posters problem anyway, there's obviously some glitch in the programme or the Xbox itself. All I can suggest is re-installing.

Hmm.. I always thought that GOTY referred to Morrowind plus both expansions in a single package... for both the PC and XBox version.galraen wrote:Isn't Morrowind GOTY only on the Xbox?
Or at least, this page seems to suggest it.
Though, I'm not completely sure

Generally, so long as what you post isn't anything illegal or a blatant flame or profanity laced and stays on topic in a thread then you don't have much to worry about here. Just read through the forum rules, that should cover everything you need to avoid. Welcome to the forums.d-mac wrote:Yes, it is for Xbox, BUT before I *hypothetically* talk about *hypothetical* mods, I would first like to know if (**hypothetically**) I would be allowed to do so without excessive moderator flaming (never talk about them on the official TES forums...).

I wasn't sure, which is why I asked. So back to square one. The original poster will hopefully clarify if they're playing on PC or Xbox, and what mods they have installed, if any.dragon wench wrote:Hmm.. Then the only suggestion I can make is to start a new character to see if the same thing happens, it could be that you have a corrupt game save file. If that's not the case then try a re-install, if the problem persists after that then it would indicate to me that you have a faulty Xbox.triline beta wrote:I am playing it on xbox so there is no mods.
Do you have any problems with other games on the Xbox?

I have the PC GOTY Edition, and tho it takes some time for the spriggans to spawn, I haven't had the problem of not being able to finish that quest. Nor the problem of disappearing houses. And I run +1,25GB worth of mods.
Btw, GOTY for PC consist of Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon and the Editor. That makes it 4 discs.
