NPC Level Detection

Post by stubalove »

Is there any way of telling what a characters level is, I'm not talking about your character, I'm talking about NPC's level's. I want to use a command spell to get someone to my house, but i don't know how high to make it. For clarification, when making or buying a spell it says, "Command Humanoid up to level (blank) to level (blank)". If you can't control most humans/khajiits/argonians, is there any other way to get them to follow you?

Grazi

P.S.
I got the X-Box 360 version

tangental spoiler

Unfortunately, no. I just love finding "Dominate up to level 7 humaniod" scrolls when I'm level 30 and they don't work on anybody. I'd say if you're making your own spell make it work on creatures as close to your own level as possible, because most of the NPCs you'd want to control level with you. Other than that, you can get followers if you're the head of the MG or DB, and there are certain parts of certain quests where NPCs follow you (spoiler:

For example, one time I did the main quest I ignored Martin's request to return to Cloud Ruler, so he and Jauffre followed me around Cyrodiil for weeks doing FG quests
). And there's always the Adoring Fan... :)

Could be spoilers, don't cry, heres your warning

yea my house is stocked with the adoring fan, the knight off the nine guy, the dark brother hood khajiit, the atronach familiar, and the eyja chick but i want this guy from the skooma den in bravil named R'vanni and he does follow me with a decent command spell. My question now is my friend brought up that he will not stay where you command him, and he will go back to his original town and schedule. Is there any truth to that

Nice posse you've got going there :) Not sure about R'vanni, never met him, but he probably needs a skooma fix if you don't keep him busy...

I need R'vanni in my house...end of story. The khajiit is almost the equivalent of Wahdarkhu In morrowind to me. And that is saying something but yea if anyone know somthing about ANY NPC going back to there original schedule after being commanded somewhere else, drop me a line
