Playing ToB and now map is messed up!

I just finished SoA for the first time (so dont spoil anything about ToB) and now I have started playing ToB. But I noticed that I dont see any map points on the map! Its just the map, no "gems" that point out the stores and important places!

At first I thought this was ment to be for ToB but then I saw a screenshot and they had map-points. I cant add new ones by right clicking either.

I have the latest patch and all that, help please! I want to find shops!

If it matters Im using an iMac.

Activate your map, there are two buttons (top-left and top-right)...click the center portion of the top-left button until they re-appear. The same thing happened to me.

I was all like "WTF??? (click) oh...cool...there they are"
