Please someone help me with emindor!!

I am playing on lan with my bud and we did the horn quest, put it on the altar, got the boon, and did his samurai quest on the way back. But when we go back to see emindor and get the next quest, elderon has no chat options to click, syas nothing, i click on him and he says how can i help you, but the box is empty, and the elevator wont work, i have searched the whole forum for an answer, im using 1.4 and want to proceed, thx!!!

I seem to remember other people having the same problems as this. I am sorry that I can't be of much help but the only thing I can suggest is try to go back to an earlier save, before the problem occured. Also, try to have the person with the horn in their inventory be the one to speak to the servant and also to Emmindor. That probably won't do much, but I know that Emmindor scoffs at you if you talk to him during a multiplayer game and you aren't the one holding the horn.

I tried that, we went back to before we turned in the dragon egg quest for the samurai, went and talked to emmindor before going to the altar, tried talking to the servant then as well to open some chat options, but that idnt work, he still has nothing to talk about. So after talking to emindor the first time we went and turned in the quest for the samurai, went to the ruins and put ghaldyrns horn on the altar and talked to the spirit. We each got the boon, and then we left towards aryndale or wherever. We get back to the wizard tower, use the mirror with no problems, get inside, talk to the servant but he has nothing to say, just "hello" in the voice chat over the speakers, then try to use the elevator. No luck, it wont go up, we have pushed every button on the keyboard, done every flip, tried everything, tried luring the servant into the elevator room and then talking to him, tried talking to him while 1 person was on the elevator, nothing works. I am quite frustrated because we really want to continue. Thank you for your suggestion, you did the best you could, but im still stuck, and im worried i have run into the only problem on the forums that cant be fixed by an earlier save :/
