Mephasm problems [Spoilers]

So after beating the game and reading around for stuff that I missed, it seems there's a quest to bargain with Mephasm, though this never showed up for me. Is this a bug, or did I just miss something? I also didn't get the Construct (missed the water) or Guyven (told him he "has a place by my fire" but he never showed). And also, loading an old save, I can't seem to find anything to click on for the water. Glowstone cave, right? Maybe it's just too late in the game and the trigger won't fire, I don't know. That's less important, but I would really like to complete the Mephasm thing, if anyone knows what I missed, or has the item code for his scroll or whatever is needed, I'd really appreciate it. You must summon Mephasm in the Keep. It's not a quest, just a choice you are given when you summon him. Ammon Jerro will snap at you if he is not in your party and you step in the summoning circle as though by mistake. He will show you how to summon Mephasm. M. can give you information a couple of times. If you want to bargain with him, you will pay for it. I waited till later in the game to try out the bargaining and you have to agree to what he wants without his telling you what he will take. You *don't* want to bargain with him at that point, trust me. Prior to having a certain item, I dunno what he will want.

Guyven going missing happened to me once as well. I dunno if it was the choices for dialog that I made while talking to him in Ember - I included the "place at my fire," but when I got to the Keep, he wasn't there and Torio kept mentioning him as a recruit. It hasn't happened since, so I don't know if it's just me making the correct choices or the patch fixed that bug.

Regarding the water, all I ever do is walk toward the pool that is away from the Glowstone. Doesn't matter if Grobnar is with me or not, but when he is, he sure wants his glowstone back. He takes the sample if he's with you and you do if he isn't.
