Mind Flayer Dungeon Bug???

Hi guys

Dont know if my game is bugged so thought Id ask, Im in the mind flayer dungeon and have just beat the elder brain, however, I cant seem to be able to pick up the brain blood that you need for later in the game, have I done something wrong??? Have looked everywhere in the room.

If I recall correctly, it's one of those items which automatically gets placed into your inventory after the kill (because there's no corpse so-to-speak).

If I'm wrong, it's a bug I've never heard of. Not once have I read about the game not dropping something it's supposed to. But then again, I don't know the game as well as some loremasters around here.

I echo the advice of the guy above - check the inventories of all your characters - usually the blood appears without picking up - the way the tadpoles do when you click on the water - some items are like that.

You don't need the blood, you can get deliver a trophy from one of the other two cave bosses in the underdark instead.
