Abominable Snowman!:D

Post by KoreeGahn »

Haha this is great! So I was speeding through Cold marshes, when i played around with the ctrl+tab keys, meaning ctrl + J here, The bloody abominable snowman :D Sadly i don't know how to upload pics on the net, so you can't see the pic :D

Has anyone else ever found him? You know if he is part of the Core version of the game, or one of the scarce mods availiable for IWD II ?

No, it's part of the core game. It's just that the A.S. is very much off the beaten path and unless you find that little hidden path up to that ridge, you won't even know it exists. I didn't know that the AS was there the first couple times I played IWD2.

Rumors of it ran throught the old BIS forums. Many claimed that it was a myth. I do still have an old screenshot from such encounter. I used it on another board to beat a very skeptical player. :D

When you are past the Gates of Stone, try to run a character up onto the snow at the top of the cliff. There's a path.

Thanks Aerich, that was pretty cool! I never would have found him otherwise.

That was tougher to find than the Holy Avenger in IWD1!

There's no Holy Avenger in IWD1. Is called Pale Justice, since IWD was the first IE game to have such a weapon.

Meh, the distinction is splitting hairs. Holy Avenger was the P&P name for a sword giving special powers to paladins - Pale Justice is just the specific name that BIS gave to their version of the Holy Avenger.
