Endlessly resurrecting Doppelgangers.

Have just been sorting out the Seven suns inn. The problem is: I clear a floor of Doppelgangers, go to another floor, clear that, go back to the first and there they are again. I haven't had this problem before, but I have recently reinstalled the game with the DVD coollection. I installed the patch with the DVDs. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you solve the problem? It is too late for this game as I went back to Scar and said that it was too difficult, but it would help for subsequent games.

Probably a "statement of the obvious", did you try loading a different previous saved game? Tends to slove the glitches I get from time to time.

Out of interest what happens if you tell Scar you can't do it, is it end of game?

No, you just miss out on the sub-quest in the sewers.
