Azura's Star Not Capturing?

Post by Skiboarder »

I have Azura's star but can't trap any soul in it. The souls are all "too big" to fit in it. I've seen my friends use it on multiple beasts. Any help appreciated.

First, it can only capture one soul at a time, so if there's a soul in it already you need to use it (recharge a magic weapon or enchant something) before you can capture another one. Second, unfortunately it only works on animals, monsters or humanoid creatures like goblins, ogres & daedra, so you can't use it on true humanoids (humans, elves of any variety, argonians or khajiit).
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

Hmm, stay on topic please, this is about Azura's star and how it works, not about daedric weapons.

er... it IS a daedric weapon, I'm on topic, Azura's star is one of many daedric tools/weapons you get for completing certain missions, or did you not know that?

Yes, I know this, but as I said, the thread is NOT about daedric weapons in general. It's about ONE daedric weapon and IT'S functions, any other daedric weapon is off topic in this thread.

That list includes dremora. An Oblivion gate with mostly Dremora is tougher (for me at least) because you can't use azuras star to recharge magical items...
