how to get to shivering isles?

Post by Arnfin »

I just downloaded the expansion pack "shivering Isles" onto my 360, but how do you get started? I didn't receive any quest log updates or see any thing new pop up on my world map.

I also downloaded a few other small things and see those things come up in logs and maps, but nothing about shivering Isles. Do you have to have started the main quest or something?

Thanks!

Nevermind I guess

After fast traveling to the Imperial City, another quest log entry popped up. Apparently a strange door has opened in the Niben Bay. Guess thats it, although I don't know why I didn't get that message right away.

I think in my case it popped up after I slept, but in any case I didn't get the message right away either.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

Why would you get it right away? If it's a rumor about a strange door in the middle of the ocean, why would you instantly know about this the second you start up a saved or new game?

Honestly I think you should have to ask about it in terms of asking about rumors, ya know, give your character a little of the grunt work before even knowing about it.

In any case, question answered. We will draw a veil over Bethsoft's continued disinterest in providing genuine roleplaying elements in their latest RPG.
