speis(main wuest) help *spoilers*

Post by cafooloo666 »

ok... i have spoken to jauffre and everyone told me that i had to kill the spies...i went to the rune stone like they said and killed only 1 spy... i assumed the other one would come later so i spoke to the bruma captain(burd) and he didn't deem useful although he did let me search jeurl(the spy's) house. on searching the basement i found the orders...blahdyblahdyblah... basically there was meant to be 2 spies... i can only find one... and the gamebanshee walkthrough described killing 2 spies at the runestone...HELP!!!
why does the girl on the teaching advert say that slolar powered killing sheep would be a good idea?

If memory serves, you have to talk to some of the townsfolk about if they've seen anyone suspicious. You'll then be redirected to the house and the final spy should appear. I could be wrong.. I haven't touched Oblivion in months.

Well, I asked the begger, he told me about the guy, I got the quest update to tell me to ask Burd to let me search the house, but when I click the spies icon, all he says is... "I trust that you'll handle things ... appropriately. The less I know about it, the better"

I know this is an old topic, but I just got the game (Yes, I know... I know...) for the 360 and I want to move on... the only closest saved game is right after I kill the guy and telling me to report (It was dark... It was the first time running through this quest and I didn't know there were two spies... I was just hanging around the stones like a moron when one of them attacked me...

Any help would be wonderful, thanks in advance.

spoilers

Which one did you kill? If you killed Saveri, Jearl is probably either back at her house or in the caves beneath it. If you killed Jearl, Saveri is probably in the cave beneath Jearl's house, or back at the runestone. Or check the map in your quest log - there might be a map marker that points you to the surviving spy.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

I killed Saveri, I went back to the stone, and I looked all over the cave and the house, still can't find the other spy... Nope... no marker on the map to show where Jearl is... Any ideas? And please don't say just load and go through... Like I said... The only load before this, is all the way back at the prior with Jauffre(Yes... I know it's the wrong spelling but it's nearly 4am here and I'm tired lol) telling me about Martin...
