unfinished business and boo

Post by Levendis »

I'm playing my primarily solo thief/wild mage. I dropped Yoshi as soon as I got out of the dungeon. I did the Baron Ployer quest and then dropped Jah. I have Unfinished Business installed, and I want to do the "Kidnapping of Boo" quest with Minsc so I can drop the two of them as well. However, I have no clue how to trigger it. The link to the readme is dead, and I can't find anything in a forum search. So, how do I get that started? Thanks.

I've read somewhere in their forums that there might be problems with that quest. You may want to do a search up there, and see what you turn up.

Yeah, I was already over there. Nothing came up. I've read a lot about other bugs with that mod, so I might just uninstall it.

But in the meantime, how does one start that quest? :)

As I recall, there was a separate readme for just that quest. Did you check on your drive to see if that was the case?

If not, I suggest PMing Icelus, who maintains an account, here.

You might also post about your problem, here.

You can trigger it by visiting the Docks. I'm guessing you already went there ones, so enter it again, leave, and it'll trigger immediately. I never had any problem with getting the quest itself started. It’s only during the whole kidnapping process that problems occur. Not that it’ll matter to you; you’re ditching him anyway.

It works fine for me. And it does make Minsc a bit more useful.
