How can i access Valygar's mage spells?

In stalker's kit description, it says that the stalkers can have access to 3 mage spells, when they are at level 12. Valygar is already level 12. His spell icon is not highlighted. Nothing in the abilities either. I completed the planar sphere quest and nothing changed.

Is it a bug or does Valygar have an exception? Or am i doing something wrong?

Have you rested since he reaced that level ??

Umm have you accessed him spell book and assigned him spells to memorize?...if his spell icon is greyed out he's outta spells or has none memorized Man!!

His mage spells are in his PRIEST's scroll. So, like other rangers, he has priest spells available, and in the 3rd level scroll, there are some mage spells (like minor spell turning) included. Check it!

I can access to his priest book. But there are no spells in it to memorize. And he doesn't even have level 1 and 2 cleric spells like regular rangers.

I can't access to his mage book either.

Maybe i have to wait for level 13...

he can't cast while wearing armour so the spell icon will be greyed out.I got him casting but he had to get his kit off first

Problem solved!

He got all the spell casting abilities, when he jumped to level 13.
