One last question. What NPC is able to be proficient with Daystar? Is it worth keeping?

I don't think any start proficient with it, but any of the fighter types can become proficient or better with it.

Isn't Daystar a longsword? Memory tells me it is, but at my age, memory comes and goes.... Image

I know for sure that Keldorn can use longswords (specialized). I think he is the only one who starts with proficiency in that weapon.

Daystar is a long sword. If you develop that proficiency there are a lot of other nice long swords as well. Image
