dueling

if u duel in BG2 do you start at lvl 1 or whatever level you would have been if you had started the game with that class(around 7-9?)?
it is really bugging me, i keep seeing ppl saying stuff like "i dueled at lvl9" and im thinking "thats 2 lvls off of what some classes start at." or is im missing something?

you start at one, the game only starts you off at a higher level, cuz its continuing from BG I, and to give a feel for higher lever players.

Usually you want to dual pretty early since oddly enough your second class will actually become your primary class. You need to have at least as many levels in it as in your first class for them both to work.

Now as for dueling, I would usualy try to wait until I hit the exp cap
