Templars of Azura

Post by galraen »

Originally I was going to hijack the Census and Excise faction, but instead I've decided to create a faction dedicated to Azura. You could think of it as the militant wing of the Dissident Priests I suppose, but not sure yet how much interaction there will be between the two groups.

HQ will be in and around the Shrine of Azura, and so far I've built up the land to the east of the shrine, but not far enough to interfere with Oluhan. The only change to that, is that the tower that was originally on an island is now on the coast.

The ranks in the faction have been based on the Knights Templar, but wont be going so far as to create Freemasons. Although if the Impies catch on, that might become necessary.

So, any interest, ideas or suggestions?

Like the idea of not using the Census office, since that was done with the Firemoth add-on...and the fact that there are quite a few mods already based around the Seyda Neen area.

Well, this may be something you don't want to do, it's probably a lot of work, but I think it would be nice if different kind of char's could become members. PC's specialized in combat, stealth and magic could all join, but maybe they'd get different quests, or better yet, you could think up quests that could be solved in different ways. using stealth, or violence, or spells.
Like I said, lot of work ;)

Have you played the Oluhan mod? If not I'd recommend it as it does just what you suggest.

I had been toying with the idea of incorporating the Dissident Priests into the mod, which would involve a more magical approach to their side of things.

I like the idea of incorporating stealth based quests into it, either as part of the 'main' quest-line or as side quests. I'll give it some serious thought.

This is a good idea. I can't really think of anything right now but good luck.

I haven't even heard of the Oluhan mod. I'll be sure to check it out though. Thanks.
