Issues finding Lothander in Blade and Stars

Um...i got the geas scroll and all from the temple of Umberlee, went to the blade and stars but lothander isnt there.

i know its possible to meet him cause ive done it before, but i had to go back cause i'd screwed something else up.

any ideas whats wrong?

Did you skip any parts of that quest, such as the diviner, since you already knew where the scroll was? If you have then he may be standing by the diviner's tent waiting for you to go see the diviner to find out about the geas scroll.

nope, i did that, i'll look there thoug, any other ideas?

Do you have any mods installed? Which patches are you using?

I once had this problem. It was due to not speaking to Lothander again after going in to see the diviner. He could be still waiting outside the diviner's tent.
