Can't enter the Circus Tent

Not sure what's going on but I am unable to enter the circus tent in Waukeen's Promenade. I haven't had this problem in the past and I can only suspect that it may have to do with installing the Kelsey mod (SoA and ToB). Problem is that although I put the Kelsey mod into the SoA folder and unzipped it I hadn't actually executed the install at the time I encountered the bug. I can talk to the boy outside the tent but not to the guard and the doorway doesn't illuminate when I put my cursor over it or when I use the Tab button. Any advice besides reinstalling everything and retrying? Thanks.

I can't say I've ever seen this problem before, and I know Kelsey was rigorously tested. You might try contacting the author of it.

You can use a console command to enter the circus - CLUAConsole:MoveToArea(" AR0604 ")
You might have to forfeit the reputation point from the guard when the quest is over, but that seems a lot less painful than doing a clean install.

I'd suggest finding out what's at the bottom of this before using CLUAConsole. Lobster's suggestion is a fine one, but as this bug affects the Circust Tent quest, there's a reasonable chance it may affect other things later in the game, as well.

Thanks, my thoughts exactly. I can enter the tent if I kill the guard but then everyone in the Promenade turns hostile and my rep takes the predictable hit. I had got the CLUA command for entering the tent from the sticky thread but for the reasons you mention I haven't used it. Thanks just the same for Lobster's suggestion and help. I think I will try to reinstall the game, patches and mods and see what happens.
