There is a bug that can be exploited to allow membership of two houses, do a search on Hlaalu and you will find threads about it. Other than this bug, the only other way to get more than one stronghold is by using mods. There are loads of mods that offer new houses and strongholds. You can find references and links to these by looking through the mod sticky at the top of this forum or by searching the forum for mod recommendations etc. :)

The other thing to remember is that at a certain point.. you can effectively "claim" the other strongholds as your own.....

Another suggestion for property...

The Dren Plantation.. Nobody is going to care if you "remove" the present occupants.. just to be sure, use Taunt though.
(spoiler - highlight)

I mentioned these just in case you were on XBox and don't have access to mods. Mr. Sir is right though, there are many excellent house mods free for the downloading available.

Go with mods. If you're not on an xbox, you are literally more than a hundred house mods to choose from, ranging in size and ambition from modest huts to exotic treehouses to mansions. Some come with labs that will automatically store your alchemy ingredients, or libraries that will automatically store your books on shelves. Some have dozens of mannequins to display your armor and weaponry, or terrariums, or hot springs. Lots of choice out there. :) Be sure to check the sticky thread about Morrowind mods, if this is your interest.
