The problems I'm experiencing is this:
1) When walking around the charecter's will become black like they are coverd in someones shadow
2) Sometimes when I walk the charecter stops walking and starts spinning on the spot he stoped and then all of sudden he will teleport in some random direction.
3) When I'm accessing the menu, inventory, journal etc. the arrows and some other stuff on the interface starts blinking like crazy.
Has this happend to someone else or is it just my computer ?
(I'm using a game-editor but I have only used it to do some attribute modafaction and to get more money, don't think it matters since the same errors also appear in KOTOR 2 and I haven't edited it at all)
I don't know if I'm supposed to say what my computer specs are but here they are annyway:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual
Core Processor 3800+
2.01 GHz
1 GB of RAM
and my video card is: MSI NX7600 GT (NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT)
Thank's in advance, and tell me if I forgot to mention something.
Graphic error's I think
Hello and welcome to the forums, Tumminn.
As for the other problems, is your video card drivers up to date or not? If it is, you might want to remove every traces of your drivers and do a clean install of the older driver (read this part of the guide from Tweakguides). Some newer drivers tend to have problems running older games. If not, then go and update your drivers. By the way, the information you provided is good enough.
I remember this happening in Dantooine. I don't think there is a solution other than going in and out of the menu or wait for a while until the game's performance start to improve up till playable speeds (may take a while, both of them). I also remember from reading a certain thread that you can edit the game's .ini file but you might have to do a search as I can't recall what the thread title is.Tumminn wrote: 2) Sometimes when I walk the charecter stops walking and starts spinning on the spot he stoped and then all of sudden he will teleport in some random direction.

Thanks for the tips but I remember the problems being there before I upgraded my drivers and I have them fully updated, ironically I crashed my computer doing so LOL.
And there is a way to play old games by left-click the games ".exe" and select "properties", click the "compatibility" tab and there check "Run this program in compatibility mode for: " and then check the windows the games uses
Of course I have only used this once and it worked then but I don't know if it works for all games.

Nevermind, found soultion
It is simple
"As an alternative, you can launch the game, then alt-tab out and hit Ctrl-Alt-Del (to launch the Task Manager). Then navigate to the Process tab and right-click the KotOR process. Then click "Set Affinity" and uncheck CPU 0."
Must do this every time you play the game though. Although if more errors occur I will come running over here

Glad that you managed to find the solution. By the way, have you tried other games to see whether you get the same problem as what you witnessed in KOTOR?
