Vongoethe the lich and "the Cave of the Dead"

It's my second time going through the TOB expansion and I have no idea how to unlock the the container that is found within the cave of the dead where you fight Vongoethe the lich. Anyone want to give me a hint? =)

HINT: Just make a note of it as an outstanding item. Keep playing the expansion, the purpose will be revealed in good time. There's nothing you can do about it now.

That locked "container" is actually a secret entrance into Balthazar's monastary...one of 2 ways into the joint. After you kill both Sendai and Abazigal, you'll have an encounter with a familiar face and he'll offer you the key.

happened to me too - I forgot WHY I couldn't open it [as I hadn't played that far in ToB in years] - just take a chill pill [or potion of clarity] and leave it for Ron. late Ron.

I have another question about this, After i kill the lich, I started to pick on those tables i noticed u could do things with, How do u deal with the MAYOR slime spawn?
