I know you get XP for finding it, but does anybody actually want it (the authorities, or possibly the tanner)?
I'm considering "burying" it in one of the coffins in the graveyard district, or maybe just dumping it in the sewers, or even in one of the diners' tables at the Copper Coronet...

You know...I still haven't found that body! I am on my third run through and still cannot find it!!! I have searched many times over and I know it has to be right under my nose... Don't tell me, I want to find it on me own... But, I would like a list of all the *hard* to find items in BG1 & BG2 (like the ring by the tree in BG1). Is there such a list?
You could try the BG II section of this site. It only gives you the normal items though (not the quest items). Also I have the feeling that not all the not so rare items are listed for all locations (think amulet of protection +1 etc.), although I don't think you're looking for these.
