Order of Install for patches and such

I am reinstalling BG2 after a long hiatus from the game, and i ALLWAYS put the patches and stuff int eh wrong order. I just installed the game from the disks, and i would like to know if i should install any patches BEFORE i put ToB on, or just a general list of install order of needed/important/good patches for the game.

Anything would be much appreciated and this is by far the most open forum i've found for these kind of questions, so thanks in advance for your help!
