No. I read from a certain article in a gaming site that Lionhead scrapped that idea during the development of the original Fable back in 2004.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Although it might happen in Fable 2. That's what wikipedia says at least. What would be the purpose of kids in the game? They can grow up and fight with you? That might be kind of nice...And (of course) make your character seem older.

A lot of game articles also confirmed Peter Molyneux as saying that it is possible to start a family. But as for the purpose of kids, I suspect that it could be aesthetic for all we know. If that is so, then it might be pointless to start a family in the first place.

P.S. Hello and welcome to the forums, Wildfeather. :)
