Just a few minor things that bug me

Post by DarthMalevolent »

Does anybody know why you can't put Jedi robes on Bao-Dur? His arm, maybe?

Why is Bao-Dur so maddeningly slow? Once I've trained him, I'm ALWAYS waiting for him to catch up, and frequently melee combat has ended by the time he gets there - is it because of his remote?

Atton's fight with the Twin Suns in the bar - why are they so tough for him? I've saved up all of his level ups from Peragus all the way to when I train him, and even as a level 3 Scoundrel/Level 12 Sentinel, they're ******* tough to beat... yet when my main character (who isn't THAT much badder'n Atton) meets up with them later, he cleans 'em up in roughly half a second each.

Any thoughts on the above would be appreciated - and any contributions of minor stuff that bugs you would be too. :)

Yeah, I always imagined it would his arm. Perhaps he could wear sleeveless jedi robes?

Hmm... maybe they're still weak after the fight with Atton? Maybe because Atton's drinking in the bar, his reflexes have become slower? I'd not thought about it until you mentioned it here, but it's very true.

I was trying to think of some of the minor irritants of the game, and the one that came to mind first of all was every member of my party's inability to see mines in front of them. Why I can train Atton to feel the living force flowing through the universe, but not to step on a clearly marked landmine, can get frustrating...

About the fight with Atton, it really helps to place some mines in the bar beforehand... you know where the Twileks are going to stand, so you can perfectly place a few mines in between them and Atton. You should get about half their life off before the fight even starts. Also, as a Jedi, make sure you spam Force Barrier, and throw on a Melee Shield.

About Atton's fight in ther bar, just get behind the bar & pistol blast the ladies. It's slow, but they do not follow you to the server side.

And I agree about Bao not being able to use robes due to his arm. It would fry the robe :)

Atton fight tough? Well it was for me for the first time, but just theach atton to be a dodgy bastard or a wannabe sith lord. Either way, just use shields and they are dead before you could say atton rocks

Atton's fight is really pretty easy if you use Mandalorian Melee shields - one of them is usually enough to beat one of the sisters.

And as Bao Dur can't use Jedi Robes, the best way (imho) is to make him a strength based jedi in medium or heavy armor - just don't give him any "restricted by armor" force powers. Then he can be pretty power- und usefull :-)

Maybe because Bao-Dur is related to the Wookies?
In the end, everything will be alright. If it is not alright, it is not the end.
