I have searched the forum and have found people who have had trouble sitting on the chair in the library, but I have a different problem. When I go in someone says welcome to me as the person i am masquerading as. When I go and sit on the chair the blind man behind the chair gets up and stands behind me. I get the message come up saying that i have sat down and now i have to wait for the scroll to be brought to me. Then nothing happens. No-one comes and gives me the scroll, nothing. Then I can't get up again. Nothing works. I can't get up, I can't access the menu screen, I can't do anything. The only thing that works is the control button, which is not a lot of use. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know what i can do? I have tried just waiting, but nothing happens. Please help me.ULTIMATE HEIST - Urgent help needed *possible spoiler*

How long did you sit there waiting before giving up? A few seconds or a few minutes?
Oblivion sometimes has a quest that requires you to simply wait in one spot and it takes WAY longer than it normally should. My best suggestion is to sit down and wait in the chair, the go get up and get yourself a sandwich while waiting for results.
