End bug - spoilers

Post by 1930 »

So I just finished this WONDERFUL game after not having played it for about 5 years. It was still as engrossing as it was back then and frankly there isn't a game today that comes close to this level of storytelling. BUT here's the crappy part: I take the ending where I merge again with my mortality after which i ressurrect the rest of my party. Everything goes fine until I rez the last one, in this case Vhailor. He comes up to me, so we can have our little chat but he gets stuck just before the moment we're supposed to talk, as if he doesn't have enough space to actually get to me, because the others (morte, annah, fall from grace and nordom) are surrounding me. No matter what I try, the game won't progress even though it definitely did not freeze. anyone else experience this and might have a solution? thank you

Edit: I used the following mods: Max Hit Points and Dustman Robe. Also applied the patch and the fix pack.

ah well no matter I used a save file of some other guy on this forum and everything went fine there. Still it seems rather silly that I can't get the ending cause one of my allies is too huge to let the game continue lol.

Either way I would have loved to see a remake of this game. Here's what I think that could have made this game better (mostly cosmetic cause the game comes close to perfection as it is):

-Still use the Infinity engine (nothing works better for RPG's I think) but higher resolutions and make the chars somewhat smaller so they don't get stuck in combat all the time
-More cutscenes to give image to his repressed memories or to the grand tales he hears (could work cause mostly during memories or tales of someone else, the only dialogue you have is "go on...")
-Voices for every bit of the dialogue and text, just giving the game that much more character
