Hello, in one walkthrough I read that Beckett will increased dicipline Protean on level 2 after Explosive beginning in chapter 1. Is that truth?:speech: Because I played with Gangrel and I had Protean on level 1 but he told me that this discipline comes from blood and not increased it. I had Persuation 5 to persuated him but nothing happened. Do you know something about it?

Increasing Protean with Beckett
Yeah, Beckett does not increase any of your stats after acomplishing the Explosive Beginnings quest. Though it's nice to make that question about the Protean discipline and be nice to him from the start.
Later in the game, you won't need any Stats for a Protean increase -
At some point in the game, you'll talk to him again and being nice to him and acting civil, he should ask about yourself - Tell him that you're a Gangrel like him, and he'll ask you if you're having trouble with the Protean Discipline. That's where you get the Discipline Increase.
PS: Beckett increases your protean, no matter what level it is. So, if you have Protean 4, he increases it to 5!!!! Worth 20 XP. That makes playing with the Gangrel a blast.
If you want to know where you get the Protean increase from Beckett, so that you plan your character to up Protean to 4 by then, read below:

You get the stat increase from Beckett upon completing the Giovanni Mansion mission. You know this mission exists from talking to an NPC earlier who asks you to bring something from the mansion. Have fun playing your Gangrel, and make sure to take advantage of this 20 XP bonus!
