Creepy!!!

Post by Enchantra »

I killed some of those assassin people and I sold the armor to Arrielle and now he is wearing it!!! Talk about creepy. I almost attacked him thinking he was an assassin...will he turn into one?

Will everyone I sell it to wear it? Wonder what else will happen when I sell things to people. Maybe if I sell them brandy they will drink it and get drunk...stumble around and wake up in the morning with no idea what happened haha

Some people that you barter with, will wear the clothing or armor that you sell them,
if it is better than what they are wearing....still kinda creepy to me also, :) especially when they mix and match.

I quite like collecting full sets of armour, like dwarven , ebony, or glass and selling the full suits to different people. The only draw back is that you can't buy it back off them.

There are several mods that stop this process of NPC tradesmen wearing the items you sell them. Just in case you're interested in that.

Ahhh is it too late to install the mod? or can u install them at anytime? He is really freaky in his assassin get up. I am too scared to sell my other set to different tradespeople so I am thinking he can just have all my sets.

No, it's not too late. While it's best to install mods to use with a new character, there's no reason to avoid installing mods since. Depending upon how much memory you have, you can install as many as 200 mods simultaneously, or more (with some additional tricks).

I suggest checking out PlanetElderScrolls and their Morrowind mod database. Do a search on merchant.

In most cases, you can install mods at any time.

Just be sure that when you install a mod, you read the included
"readme" carefully. Yes, I know that sounds obvious... but from what I've gathered at some of the modding sites, you'd be amazed by how many people do not do this :D
Just be sure, once you really start getting into mods, that you are careful to ensure they don't conflict with one another. For example, if two mods alter the same thing, building etc. chances are that you'll have problems.

If you need instructions on installation, just do a search here under "install" and select "Elderscrolls iii from the scroll down menu once you get to the "Advance Search" page.
Personally, I find it better to do manual installs, but that is clearly your choice. Good Luck!
