Hey team,
another question, I'm playing single player and when I go to use the key in my inventory to get to the "basement" part of the mansion ... I can't it says "Item Required". I'm getting sick of the bugs in this game, it's a cool game but the bugs are driving me nuts.
Any ideas on how to get by this?

Custard Mansion
The key to the front door of the mansion is not the same key that you need to get down the cellar with. Even in the 1.4 edition.
You don't say if you have both the front door key and the cellar door key. Did you go upstairs to get the other key? The two rooms upstairs that overlook the front of the house are important, the other ones towards the back aren't.(they are broken in earlier editions of the game IIRC) One front room on the second floor is only accessible by jumping across from the other.
