Possible bug? (minor spoilers)

I recently purchased the Baldur's Gate 4 DVD collection and am currently playing through Shadows of Amn. The game has been running smoothly thus far, but I've been running into trouble completing certain quests where you have to meet someone to trigger the next part of the quest and that person is not there. The three examples that have happened so far are: 1) No Bodhi in the graveyard (at night) after meeting with Valen, 2) No man in red cloak in front of Copper Coronet (at night) to provide the ransom for the kidnapping, and 3) After being told by Dermin to return to the Harper Hold (with Jaheira in my party), I returned to the Harper Hold to find no one there. Nothing I've tried has made these characters appear so I think it might be a bug, but I haven't seen a patch to address this problem. If anyone knows whether it's a bug (and where I can get a patch to fix it) or something I'm missing in the game, please let me know.
