Level / Energy Drain

sorry if there's already a topic about this, but the search option didn't really work for me.

Anywho

In doing this quest where you find Imoen again, and you have to battle your way out of this dungeon with lotsof vampires/monsters etc. 3 of my character are energy drained, and I don;t have a save game that returns me to a convenient point.

My question is: if a character is energy drained, will it still receive XP?
Secondly, does anyone know a spell which heals this status?

Cleric spells Lesser and Greater Restoration - 4th and 7th level

When I used this spell on my characters they all leveled up, so even when characters are energy drained, they still receive XP

Restoration scrolls can be found occasionally at some stores, particularly temple stores. It doesn't hurt to have a few of these scrolls on hand, since having your cleric memorize a restoration spell uses up those slot(s) on spells that might be better saved for other more useful spells.

And some temples might offer restoration as a "healing" service.
