I have seen post saying that level affects to cost to train a skill (not a stats) I have not noticed this or if I did it was not large enough that I noticed it. Also I have seen that exp is affected by your int, but with my int at 10 or so on one char and over 100 on another I was still getting the same amount of exp for lower level critter that both were able to kill like rats, bats, goblins, thieves, ect... I even tested it with the same char with over 100 int, and then killed myself over and over again still stat loss dropped my int down to around 20, and still no difference in exp that I could see.

CE question about skills, exp, and levels
Hi SerpWAR
The experience points you earn are based on the game difficulty. For example if you have your options set for normal, one of those regular giant spiders is worth about 748 points and on hard it is worth about 800 points. There is more of a difference in points with higher level creatures than there is with lower level ones.
Where intelligence comes into play is the number of points it will cost you to raise a skill level. For every level of intelligence your character has it will cost less points...it isn't a huge amount and I can't think of the exact number of points off hand, but with a character whose intelligence is 100 vs a character whose intelligence is 12 you would see a big difference in what it would cost each one to raise a skill.
So, say it costs 5000 points to raise light weapons from level 4 to 5 for the 12 intelligence character. For the 100 intelligence character it would cost them 3000 points to raise light weapons from 4 to 5. I am approximating the numbers of course, but there is difference between fairly low intelligence and high intelligence and skill costs. You have to also consider learning bonuses for skills too.
If you have a spare 15 minutes or so, you can try this out and see what I mean. Start a elf female (highest starting intelligence in the game) and an urgoth (lowest starting intelligence). Make them both fighters and give them each a level one in light weapons, but don't otherwise spend any of the advancement points. Look at what it would cost in points to raise light weapons from one to two for each character.

I know and understand the relationship to int and training skills, but I was not sure about the exp, and now I do thanks. I still however was wondering if there is any connection between level and training skill costs. I know every point of int lower the cost to train a skill anywhere from a few points to a few hundered or thousand points when you get skills to higher levels. I had seen before that level also had and effect on how much it cost to train skills as well, just not as much as int did and I was wondering if this is true it all?

skill reduction
When I had to took the quest from Malone Baroke to kill the Big Bad Mogg, I realized I was unable to complete the quest due to low disarm trap skill (the chest is lvl12 and I was only lvl8). I spendt hours and hours repeatedly killing the minataur in the Arena. I levelled up from 33 to 36 just earning 27000 per minataur. I noticed absolutely no adv point reduction for my disarm trap skill between each level increase.
So, unfortuantely there is no level reduction for skill costs...
