How do I damage the catapults attacking Damas's fortress?
I'm equipped with a bastard sword.

I don't remember if you can damage them, but if you could, a simple bastard sword, or even a +5 bastard sword or something wouldn't damage it as a catapult would probably have a huge hardness rating (hardness rating means that you have to exceed the rating to damage it. Hardness rating of 20 means you have to do 21 damage with a weapon to do 1 damage to the object).

You need to take out the catapult commanders first before you take out the catapults, when the commanders are dead just use the catapults.
