help re Dace
I've killed Dace and he was absolutely smashed to smithereens. I need to stake him to get his hand but the coffin only shows the madness message and everything I've tried to resolve this has failed. Please help

You get the stake to give Dace his final death from the room with the Kobolds who worship the giant crystal. Go and kill them, grab the stake and the use it on his coffin. This should cue his apparition to appear where he thanks you and you're able to move on.
You access the room with the kobolds via a secret door near the book at the start of that area, the one where you're able to turn the pages and summon monsters.
