Romance & Keep Questions/ spoilers

I just pulled out my BG2 disk and reinstalled it. So I'm kinda like a noob again.

I'm wondering, is it possible to successfully romance Aerie or Jaheira if your alignment is Evil (Lawful Evil, specifically). When i played before,I always played as Chaotic Good. I want to try the Dark Side!

Also, is it possible to get the D'arnise castle as a keep if you 1) dont take Nalia in with you, and 2) Kill her annoying Aunt. I'd like to take over the keep via Might Makes Right instead of the nice way you do it as Chaotic Good. I'm playing an Evil Monk, BTW.

I never got through all the bugs and successfully romanced Jaheira before. Almost got there though. But suddenly she stopped responding and I couldn't figureout why or what to change via Shadowkeeper.

As far as I know the romance has more to do with picking the right answer to her questions. I don't think alignment is a big factor.

I recommend hooking up with Nalia for the duration of the keep quest. Once you've saved the day you should be able to leave her behind and keep the job as lord of the manor.

Concidering the aunt's attitude she certainly deserves a beating. Have you tried with Nalia out of sight. She may assume the monsters did them in.

jaheira romance

Keep quest is going ok, but I didn't get an option to smack Auntie Dear. Guess I could have used the attack button, but I didnt want to do it that badly.

I seem to be stuck in a Jaheira loop. I have a romance mod installed. But she keeps just looking at me weird, and then averting her eyes. Ive responded a coupleof times ( touched her cheek, played w/ her hair, grabbed her butt--bad move) but nothing changes. Do I need to change something in, uh, shadowkeeper?. If so, what?

I remember reading somewhere that an unpatched ToB game has a bug in the SoA part. That being said I don't remember this specific "talk" so I think it is part of the mod you have installed.

I don't know about alignment, but I do remember that Viconia won't date you if you're an elf, so it's possible. There are ways to fix this, though.

Edit: Sorry, didn't read properly. If your romance has initiated, it shouldn't be you alignment that's the problem.

jaheira romance

Oh, I just found out that you have to do the Xzar quest to continue the romance. That's the one where you break someone out of the Harper's hold.

Jahira romance

I'm replaying through the game trying to activate the Jahira romance- but I know it is dependent on the Harper's quest, and for some reason, that's not progressing. I've done the Jahira's curse quest and the Montaron/Harper's hideout quests, but something like 30 days gametime have passed since then (and 3 days real time)- and she hasn't even been summoned to the Harper's stronghold yet...

Anyone have any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
