dual class help!!

Hi,
I can't dual class my half-elf ranger into a cleric like I wanted to... what's wrong and can I do anything about it? Neutral good alignment, stats are:
st 15
dex 18
con 18
int 11
wis 18
cha 11

why can't I dual? grrrrrr.

Because you're a half-elf; they can only multiclass. If you want a dualclass character, you need to be human. Only their race can dualclass.

I met about six people who wanted to make some variant of kensai->thief-with-elven-immunity-to-charm :laugh:
