101 ways to be Evil in BG (SPOILERS)

Post by TheAmazingOopah »

101. Have The Great Gazib summon The Amazing Oopah continuously and have him explode over and over again

100. Lock all the Good NPC's in the Cloakwood Mines before you flood it:devil:

99. Crush every halfling, gnome or dwarf you meet to goo

98. When you meet one of the bandit leaders in either Larswood or Peldvale, join. Get a bit comfy in the Bandit Camp, pick out your own tent, talk to the colleagues, get to know the place. Then stop playing. Congratulations! You have finished Baldur's Gate as a bandit!

97. Charm every commoner in the town and have them assemble on the town centre. Make a circle of, say, five commoners. Then make another circle of commoners around that one, and another around that one, etc., untill you've run out of commoners. Then cast a fireball spell right in the middle. :D
Warning: Commoners are highly flamable and should be kept away from children at all times. Burning commoners may get you into trouble with your local authorities. The fireball spell does not come with the commoners and must be purchased separately.
Please, continue! :D

96. Tell the pompous nobleman at Friendly Arms Inn that you will wash his pantaloons and then return them to him, but instead of returning them, you KEEP them!
That oughta teach him a lesson... A lesson in EVIL! Mwo ha ha ha ha!

To be continued...

As this has nothing to do with answering questions about the game, and is really more about generically being "evil," it's being moved to SYM--where there are plenty of people who know all about being evil in their daily lives. :D
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Hmm, if that's what you think is best... The thread was aimed at being evil in Baldur's Gate in particular, so I would say that that forum is the more suitable place, since the people who look there are almost always interested in/known with the game, which will provide better ontopic answers. But if you only want that thread for asking questions, then I guess your decision is right...

Fair enough. :) If it can stay on target, and not be generic ("99. Crush every halfling, gnome or dwarf you meet to goo") so it could apply to a host of games, I'll move it back.

Here is one way to be evil, and you don't even lose any reputation. Charm Algernon and after annoying the mage,(I think he's called Transig) get Algernon to take the hits from Transig's spells. That way you get his cloak and you can then take out Transig as well for his nice wand and ring.

96. Rape Imoen :(
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

Not so. Mind you, rape is always disgusting and evil in the ultimate sense: a concern about oneself to the exclusion of all others; still...to be truly evil, you should:

95. Send Imoen in to speak with Saverok. As pure torture, I can't think of anything to match this. It's an even bet whether he'd scream for mercy first, or be reduced to inarticulate mewing noises before he can beg.

95. Take your uberparty (yes the one that finished totsc). Slay every man, woman and child in the Feldpost's inn. Barricade the entrance with monster summons and see how long you can hold out against the flaming fist swarm. Don't forget to fall back to the first floor when things get out of hand.

It's what I do when I'm very bored or feeling sadistic. Play your cards right and the entire building will be filled with corpses

93. Drop all of your partys weapons and just gang up on one of the locals who gives you the slightest bit of lip and pummel him until he is unconcious. And...continue pummeling him until you get bored. Then, heal him and wait for him to get back up then do it again then when he goes unconcious, kill him...

I did this a couple of times in Beregost... :D

92. Use healing spells like Vampiric Touch and Larloch's Minor Drain on the local population.
Warning: logic and sense is replaced by typos and errors after 11pm

@Avatar, Rhûn, Pellinore and DeadAlready: LMAO at all four of you :D

Good point, I'll try to be more game specific. Though I do believe that not every game provides you the possibillity to have a racist streak against little people... Thanks for putting the thread back here, by the way. :)
Curry wrote:96. Rape Imoen :(
I think that that is a bit inapropriate, since you can't actually do that in the game. Basicly you would fantasize that you character is raping someone, and I think that goes a bit too far.

Although this should be already #89, I will just click with the last one:

91. When you meet that Flaming Fist deserter Samuel, tell his lady friend that you will take care of him and that you will bring him to the Friendly Arm Inn. She then walks away, relieved that her Samuel is saved. Then proceed to the area south-east of Durlag's Tower (the one with all the burial grounds) and just dump the body in one of the graves :D

89. Evict all the residents of Beregost and replace them with a series of over-priced, gentrified, upscale stores, to be called The Shoppes at Beregost.

88. Never return a single item to its rightful owner.

87. Help the Xvarts kill Hulrik's cow Arabelle.

86. Lock up Minsc and Dynaheir together in a room. Have Minsc enter his berserker mode. Wait for his "Dynaheir! No! You will be avenged!" Help him avenge himself on himself by having him read a cursed scroll of petrification. Leave him there as a memento of his own perpetual folly.

85. This one is so evil I can barely type it: Kill Larry, Darryl and Darryl. If you have the heart, that is.

84. Let Noober live

84b. Or kill Noober, because he's mentally challenged. Whatever seems more evil to your wicked mind.

83. When you're planning on leaving Nashkel and not coming back, have that vampire pop up and make him mad so that he will summon those Phoenix Guards, those that burst into a sea of flames when they die. No worries, the Amnish garrison will somehow work it out. Or not.

82. When Firebead Elvenhair asks you to fetch his Identify scroll, don't do it. Now he will have to go to a store and cough up a 100 gold! Mwuha wha wha!!

81. When you're at the first pit with no one in it (at the Gnoll Stronghold), dump Minsc. And leave, pretending that nothing happened.

80. Slaughter every miner and guard in the Naskel Mines.

79. Cast 'Confusion' on Noober. Or 'Feeblemind'.
"Join the army," they say.
"See the world," they say.

78. Make a party of five females and Tiax. Then proceed to the basilisk area, and accept Shar-Teel's offer to have her fight your strongest male. Tiax rules! ... from the ground...

77. Be friends with Noober by charming him. Then send him in first when Nimbul the jolly assassin friend attacks. Thankfully Nimbul doesn't throw rocks.. but he does have a sword!
(I believe Fable suggested this on the Noober thread ;) )

76. Being evil in a different way: when you have Kagain in your party, do the Bassilus quest, which will earn you 5,000 gold pieces. Then donate all that precious money to charity, just to tick Kagain off :D

Er, wouldn't that sort of make you good? :p

75. Help Mutamin decorate his garden, using your unsuspecting party members.

74. Leave Minsc at the temple, for them to tend to. There he will be allowed no butt kicking until the day he dies, a grim fate indeed. And surely they will confiscate Boo if Minsc gets too rowdy. Which he will.:mischief: Mwahahahahahahaaaaa!

73. Impose a reign of terror on your party. For example, talking back when ordered to do something results in being allowed no armour for the rest of the day (Jaheira, Minsc and Edwin are in trouble). Cowardice in battle means having to run a gauntlet in Golem Cave (Garrick watch out!). Miscast magic and be turned into stone for 24 hours. And naturally, anyone letting himself be charmed, by Sirens or otherwise, will be put to death like a sick animal without any possibility of ressurection.
