I'm curious as to whether or not a spell can be cast from a scroll without a chance that it'll fail due to armor or shields being equipped.
I've got an idea for a Cleric character who would possibly take a Wizard level or two just to be able to read a few scrolls.
TIA

i didn't know you can read high level scrolls with only 1 or 2 levels in wizardry.

Scroll usage, whether casting or learning, is dependent on the spellcraft skill. I'm not sure if there is an arcane failure chance, although I haven't had a scroll-cast spell fail.
