ToB Romances

Post by moran »

I haven't played SoA since I had my old computer. I had passed the game, with Moran my sorceror, and had had a successful relationship with Jaheira, and some flattery with Viconia and Aerie. However, seeing as how I'm just playing ToB without my end game continuation, none of the romances seem to be taking flight. I have a male fighter, and I have Jaheira and Viconia in my party, and none seem to be interested in working on their flame. What seems to be the issue? Is it something common in ToB?

The romances don't start in ToB. You can just carry them trough - when you import the SoA final save to ToB. It's quite logical, in my oppinion - in ToB, you summon the npc's via that strange ghost thing, so they're like being new to you. The girls didn't travel with your fighter, they don't know him, they don't love him. The romance in ToB is a kind of epilogue to the already existing relationship that you have built in SoA.

I'm not sure about women, but if you download the flirtpack mod, you can summon a romancing Anomen via the ToB ghost thing. But it will not be a new romance, it will be a continuation of the one you had (or so the game thinks) in SoA.

uff, that's a long one for such a short problem... :D
