Question about unofficial vs "true" patches...
I am about to play Bloodlines for the first time and am unsure about whether to install the new "true patch" or the latest unofficial patch.. additionally will I need to use the official patches first? Thanks.
You still need to install Troika's official v1.2 patch before installing either of the unofficial patches. I posted a quick description of each thread in [url=/forums/gamebanshee-news-73/vampire-bloodlines-patches-explained-87243.html]this news post[/url]. New versions of each patch have been released since then, so check the latest patch notes for each before deciding which you'd rather use.
As I'm the creator of the unofficial patches I would recommend starting with the basic version of 3.7 as this fixes much more than all the "true" patches while still being true to the game as it was released.
