Strange Floating Object (Spoilers)

Post by Darth_Ruin »

I was playing the game once, on korriban, as a dark sided consular.
Anyway i am in the valley and i have just killed Lashowe for not giving me the Holocron and i save, reload and this stange floating box appears. It has no name, and when i select it nothing happens.
I save again, load the save, and now i can place items in it. (it is empty to start with).
Anyone ever experienced this?
I call it the 'Star Forge Box' because it looks high tech, like something the Star Forge would create.

It's probably a glitch or if you have a lot of different saving files it glitches a lot when you load a saving file. That happen to me once when I had like 36 saving files :D it glitched a lot for me.

This is kinda off topic but .... You should use a lot of different saves. Believe me ,you don't want to get to the Star Forge and get screwed up like I did and have to start over. ( sorry, run-on sentence)

The xbox version isnt as glitchy as the PC version i think you will find. I have played the game at least 30 times on the xbox and it has never failed. The glitch that i mentioned was not actually a problem.

No, I believe the Xbox version is more glitchy, I've had my fair share of glitches.
And if you ask most people they will tell you the same.

Whether the PC or xbox version is more prone to bugs isn't the question in this thread. It was stated in the first post. Please stick to answering that. Thanks.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I know Fable has asked us to stay on topic, but I just have to answer this.

That depends entirely on the machine you were playing it on. There's a huge difference in hardware. My GeForce video card is horrible for this game, and I pay the price.

Now, on to the original question:

I have no clue what that might be, but as others have mentioned, I've gotten some really weird video artifacts when I've got a lot of save files for a particular game.
