Emporer's Robe?

Does anyone know how to get it and where? I'm collecting rare items.

I have every robe except this one.

I don't think you can get it in stock Oblivion but if you're playing on PC there are mods that let you get it. Check the "Oblivion Mods" sticky thread.

I got a 360, but in the GB items/equipment list chart thing, it had availability set to " Oblivion Core Game". Any Thoughts?

I think that that was a fluke I have never heard that you can get it without a mod

Yeah, its serious because I'm bored and needed a new item. I have the following robes and hoods.

Mythic Dawn robe/hood
Grey Robe/hood
Tan robe/hood
Green robe/hood
Tattered robe/hood -"accquired" from M'aiq the Liar. It's the only hood.
King of Worms robe/no hood ( is there one? )

Mages robe/hood
Arch-Mage's robe/hood
Mankar Camoran's robe/no hood
Black robe/no hood- can't find, robe/hood is weightless need location!!
Black Hand robe/hood- max enchant level

If You know of any others and more importantly the emporer's robe, post it here and p.m. me!

P.S: I have a 360, but the locations don't differ from things I've heard. Have any of you found an easter egg skeleton with a rare book in the Imperial Reserve S.E.of a wayshrine to Stendarr?

Wow umm ok... the emperer ?spell? Kinda died in the beginning and you weren't allowed to scavenge. I wanted his short sword if you find a legit way to get his stuff message me. I'm pretty sure that has to be modded into your inventory. A: you can't get back in the sewers(at least what I know). And B: he was "buried" and I doubt you can dig him up.

Martin had one so obviously it isn't the only one. I CANT MOD, I HAVE A 360!
Can you get one by putting a weightless bound item on him and then pickpocket? I Already finished the quest and he's dead now so I can't get it. Too bad I can't kill him, steal his robe and then become emporer right? LOL.

Thats the robe that some vampires wear. Just go to any of the regular vampire lairs and kill them. A couple of them just might have that robe.

As previously mentioned, vampires sometimes have the robe. The hood, on the other hand, is extremely rare. In fact, they don't show up in random loot and there are only 3 characters in the game who have them:

Gaston Surile in Skingrad
Shady Sam outside the Imperial City
Ri'Bassa in Border Watch

Ri'Bassa is an essential quest character who can't be killed, so if you're willing to murder somebody to complete your collection it's really a choice between Gaston (a very nice man) or Shady Sam (who isn't particularly nice, but can be a useful contact for thieves and assassins).

Short version, no. Long version, there is a model for it, but there are no characters or containers that use it in the stock game, so you can't get it without a mod.

Okay.

I had it before, on my other profile, and i had no idea any of those people existed. i may have gotten it from someone else, I cannot remember. I killed Shady Sam, got the hood, and rode away on a white stallion into the sunset.
(Okay, not really, but he's dead, and I got the hood. All's well right?)

I had no use for Sam, poor chap. It was bloody shameful i had to dispose of him though. The bloke's poisons were bloody useless. ( Who's gonna use a damage agility 5pts. on strike poison anyway???) I had more robes than I had listed before, just not referred to them recently.

IF YOU WANT THE TATTERED ROBE/HOOD FOR ANY REASON, M'AIQ THE LIAR CAN BE FOUND AT LEAWIIN STABLES AT 2AM. THE ROBE IS IN THE IMPERIAL CITY MARKET DISTRICT, RINDIR'S STAFFS.
