HOTU Help! Chapter 3 sleeping man temple[SPOILER]

hey guys, I'm stuck in Cania. I got the sleeping men's ring, but when I put it on, the Astral door doesn't appear! The Readme files said that reequiping it should fix it, but it doesn't work. I could see the hidden chests, but the Astral plane door that leads to the waste of Cania doesn't appear!

btw, I'm in version 1.67. Can anyone help?

Are you sure you are using it in the right place? Once you have the ring, equip it, go out the temple and follow the red arrows that appear on the ground.

I can't see the red arrows on the ground though.

You know, something like this just happened to me as well. I went back into the shrine where the ring parts were and equipped the ring. I was able to see a hidden chest in that area, and when I came back out, all was right. Try that out. Or, as ever, try reloading.

Still doesn't work though....does the red arrow just appear on the ground? is it clear? I'm currently wondering if there is something that i didn't do. I rescued Aribeth, I just used the sensei's amulet to look at the Sleeper's dreams(Since i have a high wisdom), and I've talked to Ardin and the blacksmith. I wonder if there's something that I need to do before I can leave, since i can see the hidden chests, but not the red arrows.

Does anyone have a screen shot that they can show me? thx..

The red arrows are outside the temple. You need to go back outside and equip the ring. Then walk around the city til you see some arrows on the floor. The just follow them and they will lead your to the Astral Door.

I'm not sure if this helps but it seems to me that in one of the sections with arrows they were in the air above the ground. I could have also been drunk and just imagining it but it's at least worth looking there.
