Arx Fatalis Graphics

Post by GawainBS »

I installed this old demo, but while playing, I noticed certain objects had no textures: they were plain white forms.
This is the case with rats, dogs, pigs, levers, barrels, plaques, and stairwayrailings.
Does anybody know if this is also the case the full game? My system is a P4 1.8 Ghz, 1256mb RAM, GeForce 6200.

Thanks in advance!

It's been sometime since I played it, but I don't recall anything like you describe in the final commercial release. Still, this could be an issue involving your graphics card. (Not that your card is bad, but that the game may have problems with it.) So it could show up again.

I feared as much. I'll try playing around with the settings a bit.

That just sounds like a lack of texture files.

I tried several settings, but the same objects were always "naked". I didn't have any glitches or so...
